Content Management System Login Access

Registered users of the ESSIC Content Management System Website must login to access additional site features. This includes on-line editing of a personal biography page and various content submittal forms.

Login Requirements: UMD Directory Account

A valid University of Maryland Directory ID account will be required for login to the ESSIC web-site.

Note to new University employees: Your ESSIC appointment must be finalized at the University-Level, in order to register for your UMD Directory ID. (Contact Rosalie Jones, rjones@essic.umd.edu with any questions regarding your appointment status.)

When you've obtained a UMD Directory ID and set your password, please enter the ESSIC web-site login screen at the following URL: (Note: A ‘Login’ button is also present at the top of every site page)

Note to First-Time site users appointed AFTER 3/7/12

An additional security code will be required for your initial login to the system.  This auto-generated “security code” was provided to you via an email message, when you were first appointed at ESSIC.  If you are missing this code, please contact Rosalie Jones or a member of the IT Staff to have the code resent to you.
