Announcing the CICS-MD Summer Initiative 2013

Rudlosky and Folmer present to Senior Officials at NOAA Science Days

ESSIC Research Associate Michael Folmer and Visiting Assistant Research Scientist Scott Rudlosky, recently presented at the NOAA Science Days Briefing in Silver Spring, Maryland. ESSIC Hosts NOAA NCAS Meeting

ESSIC hosted faculty, scientists, and students from each academic institutional partner of the NOAA Center for Atmospheric Sciences (NCAS), April 25-27. AOSC Sophomore selected as NOAA Hollings Scholar

Abigail Ahlert (sophomore, AOSC) has been selected as a 2013 Hollings Scholar by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Ahlert has been an active leader and participant in extracurricular activities at UMD. She is a co-founder and president of the American Meteorological Society student chapter at UMD, a writer for the Scientific Terrapin, and a member of the Student Judiciary Board….

ESSIC Shines at Maryland Day 2013

Murtugudde presents back-to-back talks on ENSO
