Featured Faculty Raghu MurtuguddeProfessor & Executive Director Murtugudde is a modeler and not a scientist. He models the Earth System from ocean circulation to ocean-atmosphere coupling, air-sea interactions, ocean ecosystems including fish, and bio-climate feedbacks. His teaching focuses on training Earth System doctors who can take the pulse of the planet and diagnose what ails the planet in terms of human-natural system interactions. He also works on agroforestry and other sustainable approaches to water and agriculture. He likes to advance Regional Earth System Predictions and Projections as a decision-making tool for sustainability. |
