ESSIC researcher Ariana Sutton-Grier is one of three speakers scheduled to appear before a congressional briefing on nature-based solutions to combat coastal erosion. Sutton-Grier’s talk will summarize the latest scientific research supporting the role of healthy ecosystems in providing benefit to both society and the economy. Invitations to the July 6th event in Washington, D.C. were sent to over 300 Hill staffers. The meeting is co-sponsored by the Pew Charitable Trust and the Congressional Coastal Communities Caucus.
