Research Interests:
Understanding the global water cycle using inferences based on precipitation and atmospheric circulation datasets derived primarily from observations supplemented in some cases with certain atmospheric model products such as reanalyses. Identifying systematic variations in sensible weather, particularly those associated with the water cycle such as precipitation, drought and humidity, with a focus on seasonal to interannual time scales and anomalies associated with large-scale climatic signals such as ENSO.
