My research aims to predict terrestrial and aquatic water, energy, and biogeochemical processes by solving the governing equations of the groundwater–soil–plant–atmosphere continuum and examining the lateral transfer of water, energy, and elements from land to ocean, all within the framework of fundamental landscape units—watersheds.
