Research Interests:
1) Derivation of land-surface parameters (temperature and soil moisture) from multi-source remote sensing (active/passive, multi-angle, and multi-channel; airborne and satellite)2) Data assimilation of satellite based land observations into land surface model and weather forecasts model3) Applications of satellite observed products, e.g. earth’s diurnal variability, drought monitoring and climate change
