Professor James Farquhar co-authored a study published in Nature Geosciences March 18th entitled, "A bistable organic-rich atmosphere on the Neoarchaean Earth." The study focuses on how the Earth's early atmosphere periodically cycled between hazy and sunny in a way that would have had a profound effect on the climate of the young planet.
