Reminder–Nominations for Tawes and Coulter Awards close Friday, April 13!
Time is running out to nominate your environmental hero for the 35th annual Tawes Award for a Clean Environment and the James B. Coulter Government Employee Award. Award nominations and all supporting documentation must be received by Friday, April 13, 2012.
The Tawes Award recognizes individuals and civic, community and non-profit groups that have demonstrated outstanding efforts to enhance Maryland’s environment over a period of time or with a single project. There are separate categories for youth and adults. Nominations are also being accepted for the James B. Coulter Award, which acknowledges outstanding environmental contributions by a government employee.
The Tawes and Coulter awards are co-sponsored by Maryland Department of the Environment, Maryland Department of Natural Resources and the Maryland Petroleum Council. For more information on the awards please visit the MDE newsroom.
