Victor R. Peguero, ESSIC’s former Director of Administration and Finance, passed away on May, 30, 2019 at his home in Bel Air, Maryland following a long illness. Peguero was appointed Director of Business and Finance for ESSIC in May 2017.  He immediately struck everyone with his wit, thoughtfulness and calm demeanor. Last week, Associate Research Professor Ariana Sutton-Grier gave a keynote speech at ACCESS 2019, a coastal & estuarine science and management event held at Saint Mary’s University.
