Nigam named 2013 Distinguished Alumnus of lIT Kanpur

The NASA Operation IceBridge mission began the Arctic 2013 research campaign on Monday 20th March. The mission will survey the Greenland Ice Sheet and sea ice pack of the Arctic Ocean. The NASA IceBridge mission is now in its fifth year and continues to measure Arctic sea ice thickness and snow depth. Ancient Life Could Have Existed on Mars, NASA Rover Finds

Murtugudde Quoted in The Hindu on new ISRO Ocean Monitoring Satellite

ESSIC/AOSC Professor Raghu Murtugudde was quoted in The Hindu online news source this week, in regard to the Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO) launch of a satellite designed to collect and relay data on the Earth’s oceans.
