ESSIC Faculty Research Assistant receives NSF Fellowship

Physics undergraduate and Faculty Research Assistant, Ms. Julia Ruth, received a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship in April 2014. The NSF received more than 14,000 applications for the 2014 competition and made 2,000 fellowship award offers that recognize outstanding graduate students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. Ms. Ruth plans to pursue her graduate degree at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego (UCSD).
