Li-Chuan Chen Develops First Application Product Using NMME

Li-Chuan Chen and collaborator, Kingtse Mo (NOAA), developed the first application product using the National Multi-Model Ensemble (NMME) forecasts for meteorological drought prediction. The new product has shown higher predictive skill than that based on single-model forecasts and is delivered in real time on NOAA Climate Prediction Center website.
