ESSIC researcher Ariana Sutton-Grier is one of three speakers scheduled to appear before a congressional briefing on nature-based solutions to combat coastal erosion. Â Sutton-Grier’s talk will summarize the latest scientific research supporting the role of healthy ecosystems in providing benefit to both society and the economy. Â Invitations to the July 6th event in Washington, D.C. were sent to over 300 Hill staffers. The meeting is co-sponsored by the Pew Charitable Trust and the Congressional Coastal Communities Caucus.
