ESSIC Research Associate Professor, Maria Tzortziou was an invited speaker at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Columbia University/Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory.
Tzortziou discussed the applications of remote sensing measurements from currently available satellite sensors, as well as planned future NASA missions to study atmosphere-land-ocean interactions and biogeochemical exchanges, in highly vulnerable coastal ecosystems.
