Farrell to attend Summer Sea Ice Camp

ESSIS research scientist, Dr. Sinéad Farrell, is participating in the Summer Sea Ice Camp in Barrow, Alaska from May 26-June 2, 2016. The sea ice camp, supported by the NSF Arctic System Science program, will bring together a group of sea ice observers and modelers, from US institutions and at various career stages, to discuss issues related to the measuring and modeling of sea ice. The ESSIC-administered Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites-Maryland (CICS-MD) hosted a two-day NOAA Workshop on Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) Life-Cycle Data Reprocessing to Advance Weather and Climate Applications.
