ESSIC research assistant professor Melissa Kenney is a co-author of a paper recognized by the decision analysis community. The paper titled “Partition Dependence and Carryover Biases in Subjective Probability Assessment Surveys for Continuous Variables: Model-Based Estimation and Correction” was chosen as a runner up for the Decision Analysis Special Recognition Award for papers published in 2016. The paper was also acknowledged as an INFORMS Decision Analysis Society (DAS) Student Paper Award Finalist. Kenney was a PhD advisor to paper’s first author Venkata Prava.
