ESSIC Signs $64.8M Cooperative Agreement with NASA

The Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center (ESSIC) has been awarded a five-year, $64.8 million cooperative agreement with NASA. Brunt chats ice on the PBS Newshour

ESSIC Associate Research Scientist Kelly Brunt was interviewed March 8 during a segment of PBS Newshour. ESSIC visiting research scientist Scott Rudlosky provided expert commentary in an on-air Weather Channel segment broadcast live March 7, 2017. During the report, Rudlosky discussed the first lightning images obtained from the GEOS-16 Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM).
