Welcome to the Fall 2024 semester! We are pleased to announce the Fall schedule of the ESSIC’s Seminar Series. We have a wonderful lineup of scientists who will deliver some compelling presentations about their work and research both in-person and remotely.

Some of our speaker highlights include Colleen Baublitz, Physical Scientist at the US EPA; Justin Pflug, Assistant Research Scientist at ESSIC & NASA, Steven Greybush, Associate Director of Advanced Data Assimilation and Predictability Techniques at Penn State; Sarah Ringerud, Deputy Director of NASA’s The Global Precipitation Measurement Mission (and former ESSIC Assistant Research Scientist!); Nicole Riemer, Professor at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; and Amanda Lynch, Distinguished Professor and founding director of the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society.
